Would arranged marriages work in modern society?

I do not think that arranged marriages would work in modern society. I think this because the United States has freedom of religion, not everybody has the same marriage beliefs so you are more likely to get a divorce at some point in your life. If we lived where marriages were arranged for centuries and more to come then more than likely arranged marriages would continue to work to this day in age. But as long as humans have rights and freedom then you will not see very man arranged marriages working out in today’s society.

Do I believe in love at first sight?

I do not believe in love at first sight. I do not believe in this because you can not meet somebody and fall in love with them on the first day. You do not even know the person, how can you be in love with them. You may think you love them but you really just love how they act and look. If you truly love somebody then you know nearly everything about them, you know there parents and siblings if they have any, and you know there favorite place to eat, favorite tv show and movie, and many other random things about your mate.

Difficulty of keeping a secret

If you make me a promise, I expect you to keep it. Just as if I make one to you, you expect me to keep it. It is not hard at all to keep a secret. If you can’t keep a secret you are very pathetic and if you break a promise keeping a secret for me i’ll make sure that I do the same towards you. If you have ever told a secret to anybody I have the most disrespect possible towards you.

My opinion on “Love at first sight”

I do not believe in love at first sight. A man or woman has to get to know the person they meet before they fall in love with them. Many people nowadays are all about lust and will tell you that they are in love with you just to get what they want. So if you meet a random person today and think you love them, you probably just love they way that they look, talk, think, or smile, you really do not know a thing about them.

No Phone for a Day

My day with no phone was very difficult. I was lookin around the house most of the day looking for my phone, then I remembered that it was in my parents rooms and that I was’nt allowed to use it. When i wasn’t worried about my phone i was hanging out on the living room with my parents watching television. So it turns out that no matter what i’m doing it most likely involves technology. One thing that I did differently was i went outside for a little bit longer than usual to distract me from my phone.

Would You Rather? #4

I would never watch movies or TV shows ever again rather than never using an app or social media website on my phone. I would rather never watch a movie or TV show because I don’t really watch them anyways. Movies never really caught my eye. I just don’t find them interesting. Apps on my phone and social medias are always fun because there is always something for you to be doing. That could be playing a new fun game with your friends or just texting them about what you ate for supper the night before. The joy or drama never stops with a phone in your hands.

Would You Rather? #1

I would rather be famous when I die rather than when I am alive. I would rather be famous when I am dead because i would not want everybody going into my business when I am alive. I feel like that would just be super annoying when people always have cameras in my face. You would also have to watch your every move because somebody would always be watching you. If i was famous when i was dead I would always be remembered. Everybody would know who i was and what i did that was so special.

Money for College Athletes?

In my opinion college athlete should not be payed. Most college athletes get scholarships just for them to play for a college. The scholarship that they acquire pays for most or all of there college tuition. It takes most people years to pay off they student loans just to attend college. College athletes already have a huge money advantage over normal students. The schools are wasting money on the athletes since they don’t have to pay much to attened they’re school.

Respect for Others

I think that people are more respectful in person then they are online. When you are at home on a computer, you can pretty much say whatever you want and nobody can do anything about it. But when it is in person, people normally will not say what they did online. Most people are more respectful in person because they don’t be have a computer screen in front of them protecting them from the people they say rude things to. If somebody says a menander comment online it is very unlikely that they will talk about it if they see you in person. People act completely different online and in person. I know others will be the complete opposite way but most people in my opinion are more respectful in person, rather than online.
